By virtue of spending my entire 40-year legal career representing people
injured or killed due to the negligence of others, I have gained extensive
experience in all areas of personal injury including:
I do battle on a daily basis with insurance carriers in order to make sure
that my injured clients receive the financial compensation that they genuinely
deserve. My clients are very important to me and I treat them with the

Education & Experience
I was born in Santa Rosa, California and I left there at age 18 to attend
UCLA. After my sophomore year in college, I married and shortly thereafter
became a father. It was at that time that I developed a hard work ethic
that continues through this day. Throughout college and law school, I
was a full time student and I also worked at various jobs including teaching
swimming, life guarding and selling Fuller Brush products door- to- door
in order to support my family and myself. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree
in History from UCLA and a Juris Doctorate degree from Southwestern University
School of Law. During law school, I also worked at the Legal Aid Foundation
in Venice.
In 1976, after my admission to the State Bar of California, I became an
associate attorney at the Law Offices of Perkal and Fields in Beverly
Hills, California. In 1979, after three years of being mentored by two
outstanding attorneys, Lee Perkal and Jerry K. Fields, I opened my own
law firm. Given my many years of practice, I have extensive litigation
and trial experience and I have collected millions of dollars in settlements
and verdicts for my injured clients. I have been a member of many professional
organizations including the State Bar of California, Consumer Attorneys
Association of Los Angeles, Consumer Attorneys of California and Association
of Trial Lawyers of America.
Personal Life
I reside in Sherman Oaks with my wife, Fran and we have four sons. I have
played an active role in youth sports in the San Fernando Valley and the
Sherman Oaks area including coaching numerous basketball and baseball teams.
